Autodidact, uses book and also the internet to develop himself further
Also follows courses to learn even more.

I like making abstract painting, but the results of my painting figurative I find more satisfying.

Most of my work is quite realistic. However I'm not bound by reality.
What doesn't fit isn't added to the painting.
If a painting needs something extra, I will add it.

Materials:

I have a strong preference for oilpainting, but because the long drying times of this medium, I also work with Acrylics and ink.
Gouache I generally use for studies and as underpainting for use under oils
Soft and Oil Pastels are also fun to work with, but generally used for sketching.

Talking about sketching: I never leave home without at least taking a small sketchbook and a pencil with me.
